Product Overview
Bostik Intustrip is a soft adhesive pre-formed strip sealant developed for use as a compression seal in fire sensitive situations. The strip is based on a hydrocarbon rubber, compounded with special additives which cause the product to swell (intumesce) when exposed to flame or other heat source, the insulating char formed being resistant to the passage of smoke and flames. Bostik Intustrip can be used in the bedding of glass in window frames and doors, and in compression seals.
- Tested to the conditions of BS476: Part 20: 1987 to give over half an hour fire resistance in suitable assembly
