Congratulations to Travis Perkins employees, David Hewes and Neal Beaumont (aka Dobby and the Pirates), 2nd place winners of the Cementone Fantasy Football League 2007/08.
David and Neal won tickets to a Premiership game of their choice and joined thousands of other football enthusiasts at Old Trafford on Saturday 16th May to watch Manchester United take on Arsenal.
Despite ending a goalless draw, the game saw Manchester United claim its 11th Premier League title.
Neal, a life-long United fan, was thrilled to be there for such a momentous occasion. He commented: “I’ve been a fan of Manchester United for over 30 years but I’ve never been to Old Trafford before. We had great seats, near the Stretford end of the stadium, and had a meal in the Red Café. To be there to see the club be presented with the trophy is an experience I will never forget.”
