Inflatable items such as life vests, evacuation slides, portable shelters etc. are often bonded using Bostik adhesives. There are many different types of materials used in the construction of such articles, so appropriate surface preparation is essential in achieving a strong, durable bond. Bostik supply a range of cleaners and primers to supplement mechanical cleaning and abrading. Adhesives used are generally 2 component polychloroprene contact adhesives.
